    Mid-century modern (MCM) is the design movement in interior, product, graphic design, architecture, and urban development that became popular after WWII in and continued until the late s. The term, employed as a style descriptor as early as the mids, was reaffirmed in by Cara Greenberg in the title of her book, Mid-Century. Mid-Century Modern style makes use of clean lines, geometric shapes, and furniture with tapered legs to bring a more lived-in look to traditional modern style.
